Kansas-Based Violent Extremist Arrested after Attempting to Detonate Car Bomb at Ft. Riley

“The FBI have arrested Kansas-based John T. Booker of Topeka, Kansas, resident agency, for allegedly attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, maliciously damage and destroy by means of fire and explosive a United States government facility, and attempting to provide material support or resources to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), a designated foreign terrorist organization (FTO).”

ISIS, Al Qaeda Franchising Efforts Changed the Face of Terrorism

“Creating franchises among groups claiming affiliation with al Qaeda or the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is among the biggest change in international terrorism, two leading experts told the Atlantic Council on Thursday.

Bruce Hoffman, director of security programs at Georgetown University, said the United States missed that shift of terrorist groups willing to ‘hitch their fortunes to al Qaeda’s star’ after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on New York and the Pentagon. ‘We made exactly the same mistake’ with groups like Boko Haram in Nigeria, al Shabab in Somalia and others in Egypt and Libya now claiming affiliation with ISIS.”

Your Daily Muslim #656: Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky

Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky

Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky

Time for this year’s Nigeria Week, which will only be two days because it’s beginning on a Thursday.

Today’s daily Muslim is a prominent Nigerian Shia cleric, sheikh Ibrahim Yaqoub al-Zakzaky. al-Zakzaky is the head of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria. Of course, instead of using his position to build bridges, he spends his time spouting absurd conspiracy theories and finding numerous other ways to show the world how full of Shiite he really is.

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria is loosely based on terror group Hezbollah (Hizb’Allah) and was founded with Iranian financial support. The group has built numerous Islamic schools named after a jihadist of ages past. Despite his claims he never advocated violence, members of his group engaged in firefights with authorities in 2009 and 2014. al-Zakzaky’s response was to accuse the government of trying to wipe out his followers instead of questioning how they could have become radicalized.

“[W]hen Israel is celebrating sixty years of occupying Palestine’s land, we are mourning because the truth is Israeli state is created on the basis of terrorism and what is not yours is not yours, no matter years of oppression and hostage it would slip someday along with those supporting them,” al-Zakzaky stated in a lecture before continuing, “Israel will fall with her allies certainly.” If you want to talk about something being created on the basis of terrorism, look at the tunnels Palestinians dig into Jerusalem. Israel is a haven for Jewish people surrounded by nations rife with anti-Semitism. It is not a terrorist state. It is trying to survive.

al-Zakzaky is no stranger to legal trouble. He blames his arrests on politics, seeing himself and his Shiite followers as prime targets for government action due to bias. In reality, he’s arrested for preaching radicalism and separatism. “There is no government except for that of Islam,” he said, shortly before being handcuffed in years past. Of course, he conveniently omitted all the wonders that come with Islamic government, including lashing of adulterers and punishments for rape victims.

What is al-Zakzaky’s stated goal for the Islamic Movement of Nigeria? To establish a separate Islamic state within the nation. And he wonders why he keeps getting arrested…

At Islamic Movement of Nigeria compounds, al-Zakzaky’s followers engage in military-esque drills. al-Zakzaky has instructed them to apply for positions within the military and various police forces. What he is planning is unknown, but the writing is certainly on the wall.

al-Zakzaky is probably best known for his errant belief that terror group Boko Haram is a western conspiracy. The group, responsible for kidnapping and selling hundreds of young girls into forced marriages, routinely targets schools and other institutions it deems un-Islamic. “There’s nothing like Boko Haram,” al-Zakzaky said. “I have never seen a single man calling himself Boko Haram. Our enemies are from outside. And they are the ones behind those bombings.” al-Zakzaky then went on to claim the specter of Boko Haram was created by the Nigerian government and western authorities to “balkanize” Nigeria and take its resources.

Think al-Zakzaky’s right? Misguided? Crazy? Post your thoughts in the comments!

Your Daily Muslim #655: Amir Hossein Raisolsadat (Part 2)

Seyed Amir Hossein Raisolsadat

Seyed Amir Hossein Raisolsadat

Canadian Muslim Seyed Amir Hossein Raisolsadat, most commonly known as Amir Raisolsadat or Amir Hossein Raisolsadat, a member of the Chemical Weapons Industries (CWI) group, has been arrested. This is likely because of information released on this site.

Here is everything I gathered on Raisolsadat’s involvement with CWI, which is not to be confused with CSI (especially the Miami variety.)

Here’s the censored version of a screenshot I took of his Facebook profile. He aligns himself with Islam and the National Socialist (Nazi) party.

More proof Raisolsadat is involved with CWI.

Now, YDM has a new screenshot of a profile of Raisolsadat’s. This is from a dating site. Aside from sounding a little desperate at the top, he seems oddly normal, especially considering his CWI involvement.

Your Daily Muslim #654: The Death of Abdul Salam Mahmoud

Abdul Salam Mahmoud photographed touching little boys yet again

Part 1 on Mahmoud / Part 2 on Mahmoud

Not many Muslims that have been featured on here have died since their first appearance on the site. Jihadist Abdul Salam Mahmoud recently joined that small group. The former Sydney street preacher traveled to Syria to wage jihad a little over a year ago. Yesterday, he was delivered to his grisly end by an air raid carried out by Syrian government forces.

What had Mahmoud been up to in Syria? Indoctrinating children on the alleged virtues of jihad, of course. It is likely he was affiliated with the Islamic State terror group, as it was an ISIS-identified Muslim using the kunya Mohamed ibn Albaraa al-Shami who broke the news (linked as a source; do not harass the Muslims as they may upload more materials relevant to this piece) of Mahmoud’s departure. That said, Mahmoud didn’t discriminate against other terror groups. The children he was “mentoring” (read: turning into bloodthirsty maniacs) developed a fondness for all sorts of terror groups, as can be seen by the names they chose for their soccer teams:

In August, Mahmoud was remotely interviewed for SBS Insight, an Ausfailian news broadcast. This particular episode was a discussion of youth radicalization among Muslims. Of course, the network did very cursory research and identified Mahmoud as being involved in “humanitarian” efforts instead of looking at all the dirt on him on YDM. Humanitarianism and Magic Muslim Peace Sprayers™ totally go hand in hand. “Wherever our people are being harmed or being oppressed, it’s an obligation for us [Muslims] to go and help them to fight tyranny and to fight oppression,” Mahmoud said, trying to paint his aggression against the infidel as a noble crusade for justice.

Mahmoud’s wife, Zaheeda Abdullah, who is also in Syria, is set to excrete her spawn in a matter of weeks. Had Mahmoud and his wife stayed in Australia, any and all of their children would have been able to grow up comfortably. However, they didn’t think of the consequences for their children, just the promise of flowing wine and virgins in jannat al-firdaus. For people who claim to be concerned with charity, they’re mighty selfish.

When word of Mahmoud’s death spread across social media, many Muslims expressed their heartfelt wishes for the dead terrorist.

Newsflash: he’s dead. There are no virgins.

Your Daily Muslim #653: M. Mohamed Abbas

M. Mohamed Abbas

M. Mohamed Abbas

Indian Muslim lawyer/so-called human rights activist M. Mohamed Abbas needs to learn what “human rights” activism really entails. Instead of fighting against child marriage, Abbas has argued for teenage girls to be married off to older men by their parents.

Recently, a 16-year-old girl’s father had her married off to an older man. When local government officials discovered the union, they immediately dissolved it and kept the girl safe from her “husband” and father. Abbas heard of the government’s action and spoke out. He filed a complaint, blaming the government officials for their involvement in the girl’s rescue. He claimed the termination of the foul coupling was an offense against Islam and the sharia of Muhammad, pigs be upon him. Muhammad, for those unfamiliar, married a 6-year-old girl and violated her when she was 9. In the eyes of Abbas and many other Muslims, child marriage is halal (permissible.)

Of course, that wasn’t the entirety of Abbas’ grievance-mongering. He demanded a 10 lakh sum be awarded to the local Muslim community, whose seventh-century sensibilities had allegedly been offended by the prevention of child rape. He mentioned the girl’s parents had been unable to see her, and that somehow this was a bad thing. Uhh, her father is the one responsible for this whole trainwreck. He should be behind bars, not allowed to potentially further traumatize his daughter.

Your Daily Muslim #652: Julissa Magdalena Maradiaga-Iscoa

Alright, alright. Time for one more.

Julissa Magdalena Maradiaga-Iscoa

Julissa Magdalena Maradiaga-Iscoa

Honduran Muslimah Julissa Magdalena Maradiaga-Iscoa knew the time had come to wage her jihad. Her target? The Miami International Airport. Despite her lack of any tangible jihad skills such as bomb-making or beheading, Maradiaga-Iscoa took it upon herself to offer her life for her bloodthirsty deity.

She attempted to drive through the airport’s entrance, but her female driving prowess caused her to hit a police car instead. She may not have been going very fast… but she was certainly furious.

Maradiaga-Iscoa exited her vehicle and began foaming in true Islamic fashion. Most of what her screeched ranting was in Arabic. However, she suddenly switched to English to yell that she had a bomb. Officers drew their weapons and detained her, cuffing her to a luggage cart. Unfortunately for her, it’s probably the only time in her life she’ll experience the pleasure of being handcuffed by muscular men.

Officers searched Maradiaga-Iscoa’s vehicle and found no evidence of a bomb. She was taken into custody and is awaiting trial.
