Hafsat Shushe, a Nigerian Muslimah who resides in sharia-controlled Kano State, seems somewhat normal at first glance. Aside from an obviously unhealthy obsession with obnoxious boy band One Direction, Shushe looks like a nice, upstanding young woman. Sure, she posts so many pictures of the barely-legal One Direction members to qualify her as a bona fide stalker, but maybe she just likes their “music.” (Side note: one of the One Direction members is a Muslim, so the band qualifies as audio terrorists.) However, Shushe is not a westernized, “moderate” Muslim – remember, there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim, as Islam is an extremist ideology. Here’s why Shushe ended up on this site:

Yep, that’s right – apparently she thinks it’s OK to stone someone to death for having a little harmless fun. It’s not “fair” at all, since there’s a punishment for something that shouldn’t be seen as a crime. However, when viewing the world through the backward moral lens of the seventh century and the pedophile warlord Muhammad, pigs be upon him, it’s understandable why Shushe’s views are so twisted.

Shushe also frequently shares messages on Facebook from known anti-western clerics, including mufti Ismail Menk. The messages range from pithy insights to pseudoscientific babble about curses and the will of Allah. Sadly, Shushe has shown no evidence of breaking free of her delusions. Also, she didn’t know Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus were one and the same… and I thought those drama queens from Mean Girls were dumb.

TAXPAYER FUNDED MUSLIM SCHOOL UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR PAYING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO COMPANIES LINKED TO DIRECTORS(AUSTRALIA)

ANOTHER Sydney Muslim school is being investigated for serious financial mismanagement, with an investigation into the whereabouts of millions of dollars in payments made to companies linked to its directors.

Unity Grammar College, a Muslim school of about 800 students in the far southwestern suburb of Austral, is the subject of a special audit by the NSW Department of Education, which is investigating large rental payments, as well as "consulting expenses and construction services", made to companies owned by several of the school's board of directors.

According to the school's last available financial report, Unity Grammar received $6.8 million in state and federal funds in 2012, with 80 per cent of the school's funding coming from taxpayers.

Under state and commonwealth laws, education funding is provided strictly on a not-for-profit basis.

According to Australian Securities and Exchange Commission records, last year the school paid $1.4m for rent, consulting and construction services to "related parties". In 2011, just over $1m was paid in rent and "consulting expenses".

The Australian understands the department is investigating the payments to a company registered as Crescent Investments (NSW) Pty Ltd, whose shareholders and directors are the same as four members of the school's board of directors.

An education department spokesman confirmed an audit was being conducted into the school after the alarm was raised late last year.

"The NSW Department of Education and Communities was informed in late 2013 of concerns regarding the school's compliance with its obligations under the NSW Education Act 1990, which provides that state government financial assistance is not to be paid to non-government schools operating for profit," the spokesman said.

SALAFISTS COURT WASHINGTON

Shortly before leaving Cairo on a trip to the US capital, Nader Bakkar, assistant to the president of the Salafist Nour Party, told a Saudi newspaper that his party “has destroyed claims by the Muslim Brotherhood for 80 years that Islam is the Muslim Brotherhood.”



It was another message to Washington that the forces of political Islam are varied and include many parties and camps, and are not exclusive to the Muslim Brotherhood.



Since their creation over the past three years, Salafist parties have tried to make contact with Washington and spheres of influence there, despite deep differences on issues such as women’s rights, equal rights for minorities, the meaning of applying Islamic Sharia and relations with Israel.



The Nour Party is not the only Salafist group making an effort in Washington; some leaders of Al-Watan Party are also trying to introduce themselves in the US capital, to open communication channels with decision making circles and spheres of influence in the US, in the hope of building good relations with Washington.



The visit by the Nour representative is not the first and will not be the last, but the timing of this visit is very significant. It comes after the new Egyptian constitution was approved, which some view as a key milestone after the events of 3 July in which Nour was the sole representative of the political Islam current. It comes as no surprise that Nour Party leaders promoted the new constitution, although it did not include articles the party had insisted on in the 2012 Constitution — especially those pertaining to the state’s Islamic identity and the role and interpretation of Sharia.



The fact that the interim government blacklisted the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group a few weeks ago and is asking other countries to recognise the repercussions of this classification and not interact with the group or its political wing, the Freedom and Justice Party, is certain to impact the nature of this visit.



The visit is paralleled by intense efforts on the part of several Arab states in the US capital propagating that the Muslim Brotherhood is nothing more than one of many political Islam groups that include centrists, moderates, Salafists, fundamentalists, jihadists and radicals. Also, that it would be a mistake to assume the Muslim Brotherhood is the sole representative of moderate political Islam. This new campaign is linked to earlier efforts that began after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

FOR INCITING VIOLENCE AGAINST SECURITY FORCES EGYPTIAN POLICE RAID AND SHUT DOWN OFFICES OF TWO ISLAMIST WEBSITE ARRESTING FOURTEEN EMPLOYEES

Egyptian police Sunday raided offices of two Islamist websites in Cairo and closed them, allegedly for spreading false news and inciting violence against security agencies. Fourteen employees were arrested in the raids on the offices of Rasd and Yaqeen, two networks suspected of links to the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, said security sources.

The arrests are also facing charges of operating without licences, according to the sources. Rasd has recently leaked video and audio messages of the army chief Abdul Fattah Al Sissi, the architect of a July ouster of president Mohammad Mursi, who belongs to the Brotherhood.

Local and international rights groups have repeatedly expressed concerns about freedom of expression in Egypt since the overthrow of Mursi, Egypt’s first freely elected president. Mursi’s toppling followed widespread street protests against his one-year rule.

THE FIRST TRIAL OF FRENCH CITIZENS(ALL THREE MUSLIMS) CHARGED WITH TRYING TO JOIN JIHAD IN SYRIA CONCLUDES IN PARIS

The first trial of French citizens accused of trying to join the rebellion in Syria concluded Friday after lawyers for the government and the defendants presented their arguments in a Paris courtroom.



The judge in the trial, which began Thursday, said he would render a verdict and sentence the men on March 7.



The three men — Youssef Ettaoujar, 26; Fares Farsi, 21; and Salah-Eddine Gourmat, 24 — were indicted under a law enacted in 2012 that makes it a crime to have the intent to prepare terrorist acts. All three are Muslims; Mr. Farsi and Mr. Gourmat carried Algerian passports as well as French passports, while Mr. Ettaoujar carried French and Moroccan passports.



All worked in low-paying jobs and live in working-class neighborhoods of Paris or its suburbs.



They were apprehended at the airport in St. Étienne in central France in May 2012 as they were boarding a flight to Gaziantep in Turkey, a border city 60 miles from Syria’s largest city, Aleppo.



One of the suspects said they were inspired by a radical Islamist of Senegalese origin, whom they met through Facebook and later in person in Nice, France.



The police said they found holsters, bulletproof vests, night-vision goggles and cash in the men’s luggage when they were picked up in St. Étienne. Photos of Osama bin Laden and flags of Al Qaeda were in their homes.



Mr. Ettaoujar is currently in detention because he had previously gone to Mali and was alleged to have tried to participate in terrorist acts there as well. Prosecutors said they worried that he might try to leave again unless he was detained. The other two defendants are free.

PAINFUL TO WATCH ISLAMIZATION OF UK CONTINUES WITH FIRST DOMED MOSQUE TO OPEN IN KENT COUNTY

THERE are dozens of mosques well established in the county, but for the first time the traditional dome and minaret familiar with the building will pierce the county’s skyline.

Set among the terraced houses of Richmond Road in Gillingham, the Nasir mosque will officially open next month, becoming the first purpose built facility in the county.

Currently, existing mosques in Kent are sited within converted buildings; taking on the role as a place of worship.

Dr Zahid Khan, who works in nearby Wigmore, is the spokesman for the new building.

He explained: “The building was the former Liberal club until it was transformed into a prayer hall in the 1970s. But it needed to be completely gutted. About 95 per cent of the building is new, only a few of the exterior walls are actually the same.

“The dome and minaret have been significant to our house of God for centuries. So from a distance you will see it’s a mosque, just like you would with a church. It’s a specific shape.

“There are many mosques in Kent of course, but as far as I am aware there are none with a dome or minaret.”
