A British prisoner who plotted to blow a US passenger plane out of the sky was so determined to die for al-Qaeda that he used the e-mail address sacrifice72@yahoo.com, he admitted in court.



Saajid Badat, 35, told the New York trial of British hate preacher Abu Hamza that he used the Yahoo account while researching Jewish targets in South Africa.



The word sacrifice was a nod to his determination to die in the cause of violent jihad and 72 was a reference to the number of virgins that al-Qaeda preached a "martyr" is entitled to deflower in heaven.



Badat said he went to Pakistan in mid-2001 to use the internet to research Jewish targets, which included a Holocaust museum, synagogues and the diamond industry.



Under cross-examination on Tuesday from Hamza's lawyer Jeremy Schneider, he said he spent two days preparing a "detailed" report for al-Qaeda bosses on the targets.



He admitted he was willing to see women and children killed should the attacks have gone ahead.



When al-Qaeda asked him instead to blow a US jet out of the sky and murder hundreds of people in late 2001, he confessed that he felt "honoured" and "proud".



Badat flew back to Britain from Pakistan, via the Netherlands and Turkey, with a shoe bomb strapped to his foot but backed out of the plot in December 2001.



Badat testified by video link from Britain because he faces 30 years to life imprisonment in the United States over the shoe bomb plot.

INTERPOL REVEALS MUSLIM GIRLS WHO RAN AWAY FROM AUSTRIA,ARE MOST LIKELY IN TURKEY AND GETTING USED BY JIHADIS AS PIN UP GIRLS FOR JIHAD IN SYRIA

The head of their school in the Austrian capital Vienna, Peter Slanar, said: "I would have said a year ago that they were perfectly normal teenage girls, but then the older, Samra, started sending pictures of herself in the Muslim headscarf to fellow pupils and was trying to convert everybody to her point of view. "There were vandalism incidents in which tables and walls had the words "I love Al Qaeda" written on them.



"We had to act when they started saying that America was to blame for the September 11 attack. That was simply going too far.



"When there were several attempts at intervention that didn't bring a result, we invited Samra's mother for a conversation and she was very annoyed about what her daughter was doing, and took her out of the school in January."



The girls are then thought to have travelled to Turkey, where messages and photographs were posted online claiming that they were fighting with their new husbands in Syria.



But the pictures were quickly shown to be a fake and now Interpol working together with police in Turkey and Austria say that they have managed to confirm that the girls are not in Syria.



They believe the pair are in Turkey, and that whoever helped them to leave the country is manipulating their social media accounts to turn them into pin-up girls for the call to join the civil war.



The family said they have never believed the messages were written by the girls, and authorities suspect that the teenagers had been tricked into leaving the country.



The girls come from Bosnian refugee families who settled in Austria after the ethnic wars of the 1990's and were born in the Alpine Republic.



The faked photos on their Facebook pages show them brandishing Kalashnikov rifles – and in some cases surrounded by armed men. It also showed them announcing their marriage plans so that they could become holy warriors and added: "Death is our goal".

Austrian Interior Ministry spokesman Karl-Heinz Grundboeck said that the girls were some of hundreds from the West who had been indoctrinated by extremists.



He said: "These were people that did not become extremists from nowhere, somebody was responsible."

The sexual assault of five-year-old “S” who was then dumped outside a Lahore hospital jolted the nation. The story made headlines for several days. In her, each saw their own child. Much was written and promised, but some seven months later the rapists remain at large and the government continues to chase shadows

In this particular case, there were some lessons to be learnt. The most shocking is that the rape of minors is a growing trend in the country. “The average age of the rape victim in Karachi, according to data collected, is now nine years,” discloses Shiraz Ahmed, who works for the Karachi-based NGO, War Against Rape (WAR). “Child-rape is definitely on the rise. Many more cases are now being reported, but we can safely estimate that these are only 5 per cent of the actual number of cases.”



Ahmed says that influential perpetrators or their allies intimidate or bribe victims and their families into silence. “And society encourages the issue to be brushed under the carpet,” he adds.



In Punjab alone, there were 2,576 cases reported, according to a report of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) released recently.



The father of “S” continues to fight for justice. “Due to weak laws and punishment, these beasts continue to destroy the lives of women. I demand action that would set an example,” says Shafqat Mahmud. So far Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s government has been helpless. Possibly this inaction encourages rapists.



Alarm: Rapid rise in child-rape



• 2,788 child sexual abuse cases were reported in 2012, as compared to 2,303 in 2011.



• On an average, eight children a day were abused during 2012.



• 71 per cent of minors who suffered abuse were girls.



• The age group most vulnerable to sexual abuse among girls and boys was 11 to 15 years.



• Some 5,689 abusers were involved in nearly 3,000 abuse cases, out of which 47 per cent were acquaintances



• 1,214 cases took place either at the acquaintances’ or the victims’ houses, according to the report.

Wanna Have A Drink With Bin Laden? Then Head To Brazil!

This summer’s World Cup in Brazil should be a hoot for American football fans: according to The Guardian, there is apparently not one, not two, but three Osama bin Laden-themed bars in the country, all neighbouring the World Cup epicentre in Rio.

The first pioneering bar came from Ceara Francisco Helder Braga Fernandes, a Bin Laden lookalike who decided to capitalize on his resemblance. Braga says he was known as the ‘Beard Man’ before 9/11 but became known as a Bin Laden lookalike following the 9/11 attacks.



The Sao Paulo bar is called Bar do Bin Laden and features Fernandes sporting lookalike garb and selling beers, with images of himself all over the walls. He seems to be quite a hit with the ladies too

Muhammed Ejaz starring in Brokeback Muslim

Pakistani Muslim and arranged-married father-of-two Muhammed Ejaz, 28, was living a lie. A closeted homosexual whose faith conflicted with his feelings, Ejaz was driven to his breaking point. Instead of accepting that Islam is a pile of seventh-century fiction and coming out of the closet, Ejaz did what he believed his imaginary friend Allah would want him to do: brutally murdered men who were honest about their orientation.

Like most gay men, Ejaz made accounts on numerous gay “social”/”dating” apps and sites. Anyone with knowledge of gay men knows those sites have one purpose, and it isn’t dating. Before beginning his serial-killing career, Ejaz, who denies his homosexuality, had sex with many men he met on those sites. He probably justified it to himself by telling himself he was “practicing” for when he actually went in for the kill. After bending over for various men, Ejaz went home and bent over for his imaginary friend, Allah. Apparently Allah is jealous and only likes it when gay dudes bend over for him or something.

One fateful night, Ejaz’s internalized homophobia (inspired by his religion) boiled over. Despite his enjoyment of other men, he felt that homosexual activity needed to be stopped. Instead of living and letting live, Ejaz realized his religion wasn’t exactly kind to gays; Muhammad (pigs be upon him) said the following about gay sex: “kill the doer and the one to whom it is done.” That was all the justification Ejaz needed to play judge, jury, and executioner. Ejaz met a man through one of his many internet profiles… then sedated him and raped him. After ejaz-culating inside the victim, the crazed Muslim felt awful about having disobeyed his imaginary friend yet again. Instead of having a typical crisis of conscience and a subsequent confused emotional outburst, Ejaz flew into a frenzied rage and snapped the man’s neck.

Rinse and repeat this process twice more. The gay community in Lahore, Pakistan was on edge, knowing a serial killer was in their midst. Ejaz was not a particularly skilled serial killer, however, and left plenty of evidence behind for detectives to trace. He was arrested and is currently behind bars. Upon his arrest, he stated: “I started going on [gay hookup app] Manjam two months ago using my mobile phone, and found that the gays are everywhere in Lahore… My way was wrong. It is tragic that the families have lost their relatives but they were spreading evil in society and I had to stop it.” Clearly he doesn’t remember that he was just as involved in gay sex as his victims. Ah, the wonders of hypocrisy, most profoundly demonstrated by Islamic zealots. And yes, “the gays” are everywhere. Get used to it, Muslims.

Ejaz told police he wanted to “warn [his victims] to stay away from this evil [homosexuality].” That’s not difficult, and it doesn’t involve snapping anyone’s neck. It just entails being a dick behind a fake account online sending people hatemail. Seems like a common thing for a teenage boy to do as an attempt at internet trolling, not a holy mission. Ejaz also commented: “[Gays] are spreading evil and transmitting diseases. They cannot control themselves.” Clearly he couldn’t either, as he had sex with numerous partners.

As for his motives aside from Islam, Ejaz cited the sexual abuse he was a victim of at age 10. Ever since, he conflated homosexuals with pedophiles, and felt he was doing a service by eliminating child molesters. The irony is that his beloved prophet, pigs be upon him, molested a 9-year-old girl.

This pathetic hypocrite is yet another victim of oppressive Islamic theology. The religion forces its adherents into compliance, with the ever-lingering threat of Jahannam (hell) for those who stray from its stringent teachings. Non-Muslims aren’t the only victims of Islam; Muslims are among those who suffer most from it since they endure its psychologically-scarring effects.

DEVELOPER OF GROUND ZERO MOSQUE NOW PLANS TO BUILD A MUSEUM "DEDICATED TO EXPLORING THE FAITH OF ISLAM AND IT'S ARTS AND CULTURE" IN THE SAME LOCATION

The developer whose proposal to build a Muslim community center and mosque near the World Trade Center failed amid a national controversy three years ago said Tuesday that he now plans to construct a museum devoted to Islam in the same location.



Sharif El-Gamal, the developer, said through a spokesman that instead of a $100 million, 15-story community center and prayer space, he now planned a smaller, three-story museum “dedicated to exploring the faith of Islam and its arts and culture.” The building would also include a sanctuary for prayer services and community programs.



To make the plan more attractive to neighbors, he said in a statement, he had commissioned a French architect, Jean Nouvel, winner of the 2008 Pritzker Prize, to design the building at 45-51 Park Place, about two blocks from the former World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, and had included plans for a public green space.

AMERICAN ARAB ANTI DISCRIMINATION COMMITTEE FILES LAWSUIT AGAINST EASTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY ALLEGING VOTER RIGHTS VIOLATIONS

Fatina Abdrabboh, director of the Michigan branch of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC Michigan), filed a lawsuit in Washtenaw County Court last week against Eastern Michigan University.


The lawsuit, which names six plaintiffs, outlines how the university tossed out about 1,200 votes cast by the student body in an online election in March.


“We view it as a voting rights issue,” she said.


Abdrabboh said the issue is not about student president candidate Fatma Jaber, a Muslim Arab American woman who she said serves as the highest voted senator in student government and helped run the campaign for her incumbent last year.


Jaber asked to meet with the university’s board of regents before ADC Michigan got involved, Abdrabboh said, but was unsuccessful.


“It’s not about her winning; it’s about votes being counted,” she said.


Jaber is not one of the plaintiffs named in the lawsuit. The six plaintiffs are students whose votes were thrown out, Abdrabboh said.


The student governing council on elections said the votes were disqualified because Jaber participated in illegal campaigning and improper ballots. Jaber was accused of approaching students with a laptop, offering candy to students if they agreed to vote for her, The Eastern Echo, the University’s student newspaper, reported. She was also accused of sliding the laptop away from one student, then typing in her name and submitting the vote for the student, the report said. She admitted to doing that but denied ever submitting votes herself, according to the report.

The Obama administration's plan to keep military aid flowing to Egypt ran into significant opposition on Tuesday as a key senator blocked the next batch of shipments and other legislators criticised the White House for not responding more forcefully to the military-led government's crackdown on opposition groups.



Patrick Leahy, the senior US senator for Vermont, a Democrat and the head of the panel that appropriates foreign aid, called the administration's intended release of $US650 million ($702 million) of military aid unconscionable in light of a recent wave of death sentences handed down by courts in Egypt after hasty mass trials.



"It is an appalling abuse of the justice system," Senator Leahy said from the Senate floor on Tuesday morning. "It shows a dictatorship run amok."



His move set the stage for the first clash between the executive and legislative branches over the future of the annual $US1.5 billion aid package that Cairo has counted on for decades. If Senator Leahy does not release it, the Obama administration would face a series of legal and contractual quandaries as a result of the complex way the aid is administered.



"I think this is an important moment," said Stephen McInerney, the executive director of the Project on Middle East Democracy, which has advocated for an overhaul of the Egyptian aid package. "It highlights just how troublesome events in Egypt have been as viewed from Washington."



Senator Leahy's announcement coincided with a visit by Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy to Washington and a hearing before a House foreign affairs panel during which members of Congress took the administration to task for attempting to keep the aid flowing.



Virginia congressman Gerald Connolly, also a Democrat, criticised the administration's recent decision to move forward with the delivery of 10 Apache attack helicopters to Egypt. Mr Connolly and other legislators noted the killing of hundreds of demonstrators and the death sentences imposed on 700 Egyptians since a military coup last year.



"How in the world do we continue to justify decisions, such as that made recently by Secretary Kerry nonetheless to go forward with the delivery of Apache helicopters to that military?" he demanded.

PARENTS AT COLORADO HIGH SCHOOL ANGERED BY PRINCIPAL ALLOWING MUSLIMS RECITING PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO REPLACE "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" WITH "ONE NATION UNDER ALLAH"

The principal at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colorado, is facing a hailstorm of criticism from some very angry parents and residents.



The school recites the Pledge of Allegiance weekly, on Mondays. Last Monday, a member of their “Cultural Arms Club” led the student body in an Arabic version of the pledge, replacing the words “under God” with “under Allah.”



Principal Tom Lopez denies any attempt to push an Islamic agenda, saying, “These students love this country. They were not being un-American in trying to do this. They believed they were accentuating the meaning of the words as spoken regularly in English.”



Principal Lopez doesn’t make any sense. Speaking unintelligible words in Arabic in some way accentuates their meaning? That is an extremely weak argument in defense of an ill-advised decision.



He said the cultural clubs seeks to “destroy the barriers, embrace the cultures” that exist within the high school.



That would translate into “destroy the barriers to Islam and embrace it,” correct, Mr. Lopez?



The Poudre School District communications director, Danielle Clark, said they understand why parents are upset. She told Fox News, “We understand not everybody would agree with the students’ choice. We’ve heard there are some who are upset.”



Let’s put his into perspective for the feeble-minded Clark and Lopez. It is not the student’s choice. They do not control the public address system. It was a school choice.

The Muslim Brotherhood front group CAIR chimed in saying, “Obviously in Arabic, you would use the word Allah, but Christian Arabs would use the word Allah.” Their spokesperson, Ibrahim Hooper, claimed use of the word Allah is “not necessarily specific to Islam and Muslims.” From an American point of view, it is, whether he is technically correct or not, to Americans, in America, it’s a specific Muslim and Islamic reference.



CAIR representative Hooper told Fox News he was dumbfounded by complaints about the Arabic version of the pledge.



“How on earth is it un-American to recite the Pledge of Allegiance in another language,” Hooper asked. “It doesn’t make sense unless the people complaining are anti-Muslim or anti-middle eastern bigots.”



It just might be that Americans recognize the Islamic agenda, Mr. Hooper, and are tired of having it forced upon them. Maybe we know what you are up to and people are pushing back.

A local jirga in Shamali area of Battagram has decided to marry off an eight-year-old girl to a 26-year-old man to settle a dispute between two families.

Local sources said that the jirga was held last week to settle a dispute, which was result of the second marriage of the father of the minor girl. They said that father of the minor girl eloped with a married woman few years ago.



The custom of handing over women to rival party for settling a dispute is called vani in the area. The practice is still common in remote parts of upper Hazara.



“We have registered an FIR against a cleric, who solemnised the marriage of Farnaz Bibi with Sadiq Shah, and 12 other people including family members of both the bride and bridegroom,” said Jehanzeb Khan,” the district police officer of Battagram, on Sunday.



He said that Meherban Shah, the father of victim girl, contracted second marriage with the wife of Sadiq Shah some three years ago and fled the area.



The official said that local elders convened a jirga to settle the feud in accordance with the local tradition last week. The jirga issued a decree to hand over the minor daughter of Meherban Shah to the former husband of his second wife, he said, adding the knot was tied in the same jirga.



The official said that Syed Mehboob Shah, the maternal uncle of the victim girl, approached police to register an FIR on Saturday.



He said that FIR was registered against 13 people including Maulvi Ghufran Shah, Sadiq Shah, Nanga Shah, Mudasser Shah, Syed Ali Shah, Mehtab Shah, Akbar Shah, Zubair Khan, Younas Shah, Yousaf Shah, Bashir Shah and Meherban Shah.



Mohammad Rafique, the SHO of Shamlai police station, told journalists that raids were being conducted to arrest the people, nominated in the FIR.



Mr Rafique said that though nikah of the minor girl was performed in the jirga yet the wedding ceremony was scheduled to be held after some time.

The body of a 12-year-old boy was found in pieces in a nullah close to the APMC flower market in Kalyan (West) on Sunday morning. Rohan Gucchait, a Class VII student of All Saints High School, Bhiwandi, was kidnapped ten days ago by an electrician who was in the employment of his father, a jeweller. On April 18, a day after his kidnapping, Rohan was strangled and his body chopped with an electric saw when his abductor, Ishtiyaq Sayyed Shaikh, learned that his parents had registered a police complaint.

Shaikh, since he was known to the family, easily came to know about the police complaint. The same night, he and his accomplices killed the boy and dumped his body parts at three locations, all within a 50-100-metre radius of the flower market.



Between April 21 and 25, the police found the boy's legs, but didn't connect the finding with the missing case. Also in this duration, the accused called Rohan's parents twice for ransom. When his mother asked the callers to make him speak with her, they cut the call.



During their investigation, the police learned that Shaikh had stopped visiting the Gucchait residence. On April 26, based on inputs by informers, Shaikh's call records and CCTV footage, the police nabbed him and his accomplices from different places in Kalyan (West). Shaikh gave in to questioning and confessed to the crime. At 3am on Sunday, April 27, he led the police to the nullah, where the boy's head and torso had been dumped.



Shaikh also took the police to his brother-in-law's flat in Sarvodaya Park, near the APMC flower market in Kalyan (West), where Rohan was kept and then killed. The building's CCTV footage of April 17 shows the boy holding Shaikh's helmet and taking the stairs to the first-floor flat.

MOST OF THE 234 SCHOOLGIRLS KIDNAPPED BY BOKO HARAM TAKEN TO CHAD AND CAMEROON,MARRIED OFF TO JIHADIS FOR "BRIDE PRICE"

Most of the 234 Borno schoolgirls in Boko Haram captivity have been ferried abroad to Chad and Cameroon after they were married off to sect members on N2,000 bride price each, an elder told Daily Trust yesterday.

The female students were taken from their hostels at the Government Girls Secondary School Chibok on the night of April 14.

About 40 had escaped in the days after the incident, but parents and school authorities said at least 234 of them were yet to be found.

Dr. Pogu Chibok, who is the leader of the Chibok Elders Forum, told Daily Trust yesterday that latest information available to them indicates that most of the girls have been taken to the neighboring Cameroon and Chad by their captors.

He said before they were ferried in canoes across the Lake Chad, a wedding ceremony was conducted at a town on the border with Cameroon where they were married off to Boko Haram militants.

He said N2,000 was paid as bride price on each of the girls to the specific Boko Haram members who took them from their school and who had assumed "ownership" of the students.

"They ferried them in canoes to Cameroon and Chad republic after they were wedded off to Boko Haram members who bidded (sic) and paid N2,000 each as dowries on their heads," Bitrus said.

"The dowry was paid to their captors, the very people who abducted them from their school. One of them who married one of the girls took her to a border town close to Cameroon where villagers saw her."

Following their abduction, the schoolgirls were thought to be first taken to the Boko Haram camps in the notorious Sambisa Forest. Reports later said villagers had seen the girls being conveyed in trucks to other locations.

Bitrus said yesterday: "So many sources have informed us that the girls have been taken to Cameroon. Many villagers said they saw the girls being transported in trucks and then in canoes.

"On Sunday they were taken to Dikwa area where they (Boko Haram) have a camp there. From there they took them to Marte, then Monguno before they were finally ferried in canoes. It was yesterday we got this latest report of them being married off to the insurgents by their captors."

He said sources in Cameroon told them that most of the girls were now being held at "an area where the Boko Haram operates in Cameroon."

Afghan police have arrested the parents of a 14-year-old girl after they attacked a religious cleric and cut off his nose and ears in retaliation for what they say were a series of sexual attacks on their daughter.



The provincial head of women's affairs, Khadija Yaqeen, told Reuters that the girl had told her parents four months ago she had been assaulted.



The father invited the mullah to his house on Monday for dinner, police said.



"I cut off his ears and nose," her father Abdul Qahar, dressed in a traditional shalwar kameez and a turban, said from the police chief's office in the northern Baghlan province.



"I don't know if a cat ate his ears, but his nose went down the drain," he told Reuters, speaking in the Dari language




Police arrested the girl's parents on Tuesday. Ahmad Jawid Basharat, a police spokesman in Baghlan, said Qahar had tied the cleric's hands and feet and cut off his nose and an ear as an act of revenge.



The 32-year-old cleric denied he had assaulted the girl. Police said they have opened a case against him.



Religious, or sharia, law often holds sway over constitutional law in some parts of rural Afghanistan.

Dr. Mohammed Fauzi Abdul Rani, the dean of the International Islamic University Malaysia Kulliyyah of Medicine, has clearly forgotten the Hippocratic Oath of “do no harm” he took when he became a doctor. He, and many others in Malaysia, are now demanding to enforce sharia punishments (hudud) on thieves as a sort of, uhh, medical treatment. For those unfamiliar with the sharia punishment for theft, it involves cutting off a hand.

The Kulliyyah of Medicine, which teaches medical science to students based on Islamic teachings and values, allegedly promotes values of “peace,” “compassion,” and “moderation.” Clearly its dean is not with the program… or (more likely) maybe those words are just taqiyya and the students are being taught how to cut hands off. When the secular Malaysian Medical Association threatened to fire Islamic doctors who performed hudud amputations, Rani (and numerous other Muslims) began foaming: “The ethics and the [secular] law are manmade, whereas the Islamic ruling is from Allah. As a Muslim doctor, I am a Muslim first. At the moment, the fact that sharia law has not been fully implemented has made it compulsory on me to make it happen…”

Rani commented that Islamic doctors will cut off hands “in the most humane manner possible.” Clearly the concept of irony is lost on this Muslim. Malaysia has parallel legal systems; one secular and one Islamic (sharia.) Rani stated that Muslim doctors are obliged to cut off a hand of those sentenced by the sharia courts, as it is “mandated” by sharia. Unfortunately, Muslims don’t understand that sharia is a bunch of seventh-century barbarism masked in religious language, and thus they continue to stringently abide by it. Take, for example, this quote from Rani: “Hudud laws… are divinely ordained and Muslims are in no position to negate them.”

As for the aforementioned Hippocratic Oath, Rani said that Muslim doctors were doing no harm to someone who had been convicted by a sharia court. This is in line with the Islamic belief that receiving physical punishment for one’s actions is a form of atonement. Tell me again how this, as said by Rani, sounds like doing no harm: “Technically, the amputation of thief’s hand should be conducted in a way not to harm his or her life. Threat to his or her life could be due to blood loss, infection and other comorbidities. Excessive blood loss can be prevented by identifying two main arteries supplying blood to the hands. Infection should be prevented by safeguarding hygiene prior, during and after the procedure. Comorbidities should be addressed by having a thorough medical check-up and optimization prior to the event. Also, the technique of the amputation should guarantee safe healing of the stump and retained integrity of remaining bones.” Gee, I wonder how the problem of other comorbidities could be solved… maybe by not following seventh-century mandates from a pedophile and his fellow madmen? Apparently that idea is far too brilliant for the Islamic mind to comprehend.

A man who allegedly told his wife his "Islamic belief" gave him the right to kill her is behind bars after he punched and tried to strangle her inside his vehicle, according to a court document.



Ansar Muhammad, 43, was arrested at the couple's home in Avondale Saturday morning on charges of unlawful imprisonment as well as aggravated and sexual assault, among others.



His wife told police the incidents were sparked after Muhammad had accused her of having an affair, court paperwork said.



At one point, Muhammad picked her up and put her in their vehicle, police said. He then drove to and parked behind an Avondale Walgreens store, where the he punched her multiple times in the face, neck, back, chest and legs, officers said.



A court document stated Muhammad "used his hands during the assault to strangulate and impede the breathing of the victim."



His wife said she continued to try to get away. Muhammad told her he was going to kill her because he had the right due to his "Islamic belief," according to the probable cause statement.



Muhammad then drove his wife back to their home and threatened to throw her in a surrounding lake because she could not swim, court paperwork stated.



He told her to be quiet and not wake their three children before taking her phone and telling her to go to the master bedroom, where he sexually assaulted her, the court document said.




Muhammad soon fell asleep and his wife was able to escape and call police.



Muhammad was booked into the Avondale City Jail and was later transported to the Maricopa County Jail.



The woman was examined and treated for her injuries.

Under the leadership of a young, battle-hardened rebel commander, the men entrusted with the first American missiles to be delivered to the Syrian war are engaged in an ambitious effort to forge a new, professional army.



Abdullah Awda, 28, says he and his recently formed Harakat Hazm — or Movement of Steadfastness — were chosen to receive the weapons because of their moderate views and, just as important, their discipline. At the group’s base, sprawled across rocky, forested wilderness in the northern province of Idlib, soldiers wear uniforms, get medical checkups and sleep in bunk beds under matching blankets.



The scene is a far cry from the increasingly pervasive view of a chaotic, ragtag rebel movement that has fallen under the sway of Islamist extremists. Such concerns have long deterred the Obama administration from arming the Syrian opposition.



But the arrival at the base last month of U.S.-made TOW antitank missiles, the first advanced American weaponry to be dispatched to Syria since the conflict began, has reignited long-abandoned hopes among the rebels that the Obama administration is preparing to soften its resistance to the provision of significant military aid and, perhaps, help move the battlefield equation back in their favor.



The small number of BGM-71 missiles, about two decades old and hardly better than similar Russian and French models acquired by the rebels from allies and the black market over the past year, will not change the game in the fight against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the fighters say. Three years into the war, the government has pushed opposition forces out of many of their most important strongholds, deferring their hopes of victory indefinitely.



However, the shipment “is an important first step,” Awda said during the first visit to his base by a journalist since the missiles arrived.



The weapons were not directly provided by the United States. “Friends of Syria” delivered them, he said, referring to the U.S.-backed alliance of Western powers and Persian Gulf Arab states established to support the opposition Free Syrian Army. The rebels had to promise to return the canister of each missile fired, to not resell the weapons and to protect them from theft.



Awda declined to offer further details of the provenance of the missiles. But he said the donors made clear to him that the delivery had U.S. approval, and U.S. officials have confirmed that they endorsed the supply.



“The most important thing is not the TOW missile itself, it’s the change in the policy,” he said. “It suggests a change in the U.S. attitude toward allowing Syria’s friends to support the Syrian people. It’s psychological more than physical.”



With 5,000 fighters, Hazm is one of the smaller rebel groups, but Awda said his goal is to focus on building a quality force, emphasizing the recruitment of former soldiers with military experience. His fighters receive salaries of $100 a month, paid for by the rebels’ allies, and 150 have been given training in Qatar, he said.



Leading a journalist on a tour of his camp, Awda was at pains to emphasize the group’s discipline, structure and moderation, evidently in the hope of receiving further U.S. help. Few fighters were there, he said, because most were on the front lines 10 miles to the south or farther to the west, where rebels have been engaged in a new offensive.



There were plenty of signs of assistance in the form of funds and nonlethal aid from the rebels’ allies, including the United States. U.S. officials said the group was among six rebel units authorized this year to receive nonlethal American aid, including vehicles and medical supplies, after being vetted for its political views, its associations and its capabilities.

MUSLIM POLICEMAN CHARGED WITH SEXUALLY ASSAULTING TWO JUNIOR FEMALE OFFICERS WHILE ON DUTY (AUSTRALIA)

A POLICE officer charged over indecently assaulting two junior female officers while on duty has pleaded not guilty in court.




Nasser Dib, the brother of former featherweight boxing world champion Billy Dib, is facing eight charges of aggravated indecent assault and assault with an act of indecency.



The Leading Senior Constable, from Greenacre, was charged by the Professional Standards Command last month and suspended with pay.



The Dibs are a well-respected and admired family in western Sydney’s Lebanese Muslim community.



One of Nasser’s other brothers, Jihad, is the well-known principal of Punchbowl Boys High School while his father Ali was the former secretary of the Lebanese Muslim Association.



Dib sat silently inside Downing Centre Local Court at his first appearance today and no family members were in court to support him.



The 29-year-old is accused of assaulting the officers, a constable and probationary constable, in December, 2011, and April, 2013.



The first four assaults allegedly occurred in December, 2011.



Dib is accused of grabbing the female officer’s wrist and “pushing her hand down on his exposed penis twice” under Tom Ugly’s Bridge in Blakehurst.



During the same time period he also allegedly “placed his right hand underneath her vest and he felt her breast” while the pair were driving past Oatley Park in Oatley.



The second four assaults allegedly occurred in April, 2013, against a probationary constable at Oatley.



Dib is accused of attempting to kiss her twice and grabbing her on the buttocks.



He is also accused of placing his hand under her “load-bearing vest” and “grabbing and squeezing her breast” as they drove from Oatley Park to Hurstville Police Station.



The charges are all aggravated indecent assaults because the alleged victims were “under his authority” as the senior officer.

TRIAL OF MUSLIM WHO STRANGLED HIS PREGNANT WIFE DURING ARGUMENT OVER HER FAMILY ASKING HER NOT TO WEAR ISLAMIC GARB BEGINS IN PHILADELPHIA

Jury selection started Monday morning in the case of a 28-year-old man who allegedly strangled his pregnant girlfriend inside a one-bedroom efficiency apartment near Chelten and Chew avenues in East Germantown.



Roysce "Yusef" Haynes is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the Sept. 2012 of Atiya Majah Perry.



Opening arguments in the case are expected to commence on Tuesday morning.



At that Dec. 2012 hearing, an abuse-of-corpse charge was dropped after the judge heard Haynes' assertion that after killing his wife of two months, he cleaned her body and wrapped it in a sheet in accordance with Muslim pre-funeral custom.




Victim's mother speaks



For her part, Atiya's mother Patricia is pleased that the case will finally be heard in court.



"I'm so glad that the trial finally came, and am happy he didn't take a [plea] deal," Patricia Perry told NewsWorks. "I want him to get two life sentences. My heart is broken."

What the suspect says happened



On Sept. 10, probation agents arrived at a tiny one-bedroom efficiency on the 800 block of E. Chelten Ave. to perform a routine check on Haynes. There, they found Perry's body and took Haynes into custody.



When he got to the Roundhouse, Haynes requested a cup of hot tea and was interviewed by two detectives, one of whom was Tolliver.



"I didn't mean to kill her," the suspect allegedly told them, continuing that an argument about family interference in religious matters led her to an altercation during which Perry started "hitting me with a closed fist on the side of the head. She pulled out her pepper spray. That's when I choked her. ... I felt her go limp."



Haynes' statement makes mention of having met Perry in March and getting married in July. He claimed that her family was "telling her not to wear her [Muslim] garb," and this caused problems in their relationship.

RESIDENTS DRIVING MUSLIM OPPORTUNISTS FROM SYRIA OUT OF THEIR VILLAGES (BULGARIA)

Syrian refugees have been facing discrimination from the inhabitants of Rozovo, a Bulgarian village, according to the National Ombudsman.



Penchev's comments came after three Syrian families were forced to leave Rozovo, a village in Central Bulgaria, following calls by locals that they go away until Monday.



Residents who issued the ultimatum (and who claim to represent the village's population) said "more radical protests" and even "violence" could be triggered by their refusal to leave.



Also on Monday morning, some 150 people (out of a population exceeding 1000) staged a demonstration in front of the house where the refugees had spent a day, waving Bulgarian flags which they later placed at the building's door and on its fence.



They chanted, "Bulgaria for the Bulgarians!" and told journalists which covered their event they had been afraid that refugees could threaten their lives or rape some of the inhabitants.



It was pressure put by them on the house's owner earlier last week that forced him to ask the Syrians to leave.

An Afghan asylum seeker on hunger strike was this morning rushed to hospital in Reykjavík, unconscious.



The Afghan man had been on hunger strike for over six days, whereby he has refused all food and drink, although he was given nutrition and fluid by drip when he spent a night in hospital last Wednesday.



Neither the Ministry of the Interior nor the Directorate of Immigration has commented publicly on his case, Vísir.is reports.



This morning Ghasem’s friends found him unconscious and he was rushed to hospital. There he was put on a drip and quickly regained consciousness, but he remains too weak to express himself properly.



Ghasem’s family are all dead and he fled Afghanistan at the age of 16. He arrived in Iceland in 2012 and applied for political asylum. The application was rejected on the grounds of the Dublin II Regulation, because he had previously applied for asylum in Sweden.




He appealed the decision to the Ministry of the Interior and is still waiting for a response to this day.



Ghasem was not granted asylum in Sweden and therefore believes he will end up being sent back to Afghanistan if the Icelandic authorities also reject his application. He says he cannot go back to Afghanistan and that he would rather die in Iceland than go back there. That is the reason behind his hunger strike.

A doctor who turned part of a hospital ward into his own secret pornography studio has been thrown out of the profession.



Dr Suheil Ahmed, 28, took over 100 snaps of women while he carried out intimate examinations at Torbay Hospital, Devon.



The trainee surgeon sectioned off their beds from the rest of the ward and touched his victims as he removed their clothing to get a better view of their bodies for his camera.



During the intimate checks he told his victims, who were in their 20s, he was using his mobile phone to time their breathing or heart rate.



He also installed a secret camera in a house owned by his family to film students using the toilet.



Ahmed was suspended by Torbay Hospital after two women complained about their examinations, sparking a probe into his conduct.



A police investigation found 110 images of patients uploaded to his home personal computer along with footage from a secret camera installed in a property belonging to his family.



He initially denied any wrongdoing, claiming he had taken the pictures for his medical portfolio.



But Ahmed, of Cyncoed Road, Cardiff, admitted 11 counts of voyeurism and two counts of sexual assault by touching when he appeared at Exeter Crown Court.



He was jailed for 18 months last October - later increased to 30 months after the Court of Appeal found the sentence was 'unduly lenient'.



The doctor was facing fitness to practise proceedings at the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service in Manchester this week where he was branded an 'on-going risk to patients.'



Neil Usher, for the General Medical Council, told the panel that Dr Ahmed's crimes constituted a 'gross breach of trust' and said the medic remained a 'danger to the public'.



The MPTS panel, chaired by Mr Jetinder Shergill, found his actions were so serious that the only appropriate sanction was to impose a lifetime ban from the profession.

Sadeq Abdallah bin al-Majed might have an eating disorder or two

Sudanese sheikh Sadeq Abdallah bin al-Majed is, like many other Muslims, completely delusional. Instead of recognizing the need to look at his fellow Muslims’ misbehavior, al-Majed created multiple tinfoil hat-esque conspiracies on which to blame the woes of his nation.

In the 2000′s, the Sudanese government and its Janjaweed (no, that is not a type of marijuana) militias made multiple incursions into the Darfur region, leaving millions dead or displaced. After much international outcry, the invasion stopped. The international intervention was the catalyst behind the split of Sudan. Of course, al-Majed didn’t possibly consider that the Janjaweed attacks on Darfur were an Islamic war of aggression against the largely Christian and Animist population of Darfur. Instead of acknowledging that Muslims were at fault for the slaughter, al-Majed claimed the entire thing had been an American machination: “The West, and the Americans in particular, have been planning this [Darfur intervention] for years… The reason is that they studied this region extensively – the Darfur region in particular – and realized that it is full of treasures, the likes of which have never been found elsewhere in Sudan… They [Americans] are behind all the tragedies that are taking place in Darfur.” Uhh, it’s a f**king desert. Pretty sure any treasure there is just a mirage…

al-Majed is the leader of Sudan’s Muslim Brotherhood, and thus has to say as many completely absurd things as possible to retain his position. He stated he wouldn’t accept a Christian elected leader of Sudan (see how Islam has a “proud tradition of tolerance,” as Barack Hussein Obama put it?) al-Majed tried to defend his position with Islamic scripture, which just shows that Islam is incapable of integrating or coexisting with any other belief system: “Islam does not permit a non-Muslim to rule over Muslims.” As you can see, Islam teaches interfaith equality and is totally just like every other religion.

Now, on to a different subject: Jenny McCarthy. A well-known model, comedian, and anti-vaccine activist, McCarthy is the preferred “stimulant” material of many forever-alones. al-Majed might’ve issued a fatwa prohibiting the vaccination of children in a desperate hope to get attention from her. Like McCarthy, al-Majed opposes vaccines. Here’s McCarthy’s take on vaccines: “The idea that vaccines are a primary cause of autism is not as crackpot as some might wish. Autism’s 60-fold rise in 30 years matches a tripling of the U.S. vaccine schedule.” Though she didn’t cite her sources and doesn’t provide scientific basis for her claims, McCarthy makes a stronger point than the downright crazy al-Majed: “Allah be praised, the fact that I followed this [child vaccination] issue bore fruit, and thousands of children were saved from the claws of the Jewish movement, which is represented by… the Freemason movement, which is behind this. If the Jews could find a way to annihilate the people throughout the world, and ultimately have the rule to themselves – they would do it.”

I don’t even know where to begin with that. I mean, McCarthy’s a bit off-center, but al-Majed is completely out in left field. Freemasons, Jews… all these groups Muslims love to blame actually aren’t conspiring to dismantle society, contrary to Islamic delusions. Also, it’s incredibly ironic for an Islamist to accuse Jews of wanting to wipe everyone else out. I haven’t seen a clearer example of the pot calling the kettle black.

The killings have sent shockwaves through the underground gay community of the eastern city of Lahore, which fears Ejaz could be lionised as a hero in a conservative Islamic society where homosexuality is stigmatised and sodomy is punishable by up to 10 years in jail.



In an interview with AFP from his prison cell Sunday night, Ejaz, who sported a neat trimmed beard and was kept shackled, expressed remorse over the killings but said he was acting to stop wrongdoing.



"My way was wrong. It is tragic that the families have lost their relatives but they were spreading evil in society and I had to stop it," said Ejaz, who is due to appear in court on Monday.



"I wanted to warn them to stay away from this evil."



- Brutal killings



The killings happened in March and April, according to police officer Asad Sarfraz, who headed the investigation. The victims were a middle-aged retired army Major and two other men, both in their twenties.



All three were found with their necks broken and had been sedated.



After examining their mobile phone call logs, police were able to identify Ejaz's number and found another former lover whom they used as a honey trap to lure him to a meeting a week ago, where they arrested him.



Ejaz, who was married in 2011 and has two infant children, said his family knew nothing of what he had done and insisted that he was not gay himself.



"I started going on Manjam two months ago using my mobile phone, and found that the gays are everywhere in Lahore," he said, referring to a popular social networking website.



"They are spreading evil and transmitting diseases. They cannot control themselves," he added.



Ejaz said he was the victim of sexual abuse by an older boy when he was around 10 years old and had led a deeply unhappy childhood.



"I have hated them ever since what happened to me," he said.

The former Imam of Australia’s largest mosque is now vowing to visit the graves of Muslims at Rookwood Cemetery every day to find peace among the dead.



Sheik Hilaly, the former Imam at Lakemba mosque, has spoken of his concerns for the Muslim community, saying too many young Australians were taking up arms to join foreign conflicts.



“My biggest fear is the youth that take up arms and go to fight overseas,” he said.



“People are getting prepared as if they’re going back to World War I and many of them don’t know their duty to the country that has given them peace — Australia.



“The people involved in these conflicts are like a large group of blind people in a room, who have been given weapons and have been told to fight those around them.”



In his first interview since his return, the Sheik hit out at his former employer, the Lebanese Muslim Association, saying it was in “a drugged haze”.



“Like many other associations, they don’t seem to have any direction,” he said.



“They seem like people walking in a drugged haze, like somebody has given them anaesthetic and they don’t know where they’re going.”

MUSLIM MAN ARRESTED BY FBI FOR SETTING UP WEBSITE TO SELL PIRATED KODAK SOFTWARE WORTH HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS (VIRGINIA)

Federal authorities have charged an Iranian man with conspiring to sell pirated copies of Eastman Kodak's printing software worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.



The U.S. Attorney's Office says Navid Salehvaziri of Tehran was arrested in Virginia and charged with setting up a website to sell pirated copies of Kodak's Prinergy Evo printer software.



The website was called "KodakPrinergy.com" and looked official. But the software Salehvaziri sold to an undercover FBI agent for $1,500 was an unauthorized copy, with its usual security features disabled by a hack.



Kodak verified it was a full working copy of its commercial printing technology that usually lists for $345,000. It's the heart of Kodak's "direct from computer to plate" technology for high-volume, high-speed printers.



Salehvaziri will face the software pirating charge in Rochester.

It would be unacceptable if three Somali men convicted of piracy were to be given refugee status in the Netherlands, according to VVD parliamentarians.



'These troublemakers should be thrown out of the country as quickly as possible,' MP Malik Azmani said. The pirates have been released from jail but will not be deported because their applications for asylum are still being processed.



The situation is too bizarre for words, Azmani said. 'First you shoot at Dutch soldiers and then you request asylum here,' he is quoted as saying. 'It is unacceptable that these criminals want to remain here.'



The three are part of a group of nine Somali pirates jailed for 4.5 years in 2011 after going on trial in the Netherlands. Having served two-thirds of their sentence, they have now been released from jail.

MUSLIM OPPORTUNISTS FROM AFGHANISTAN PROTEST IN FRONT OF UNHCR OFFICES,DEMANDING REVIEW OF THEIR ALREADY REJECTED ASYLUM CLAIMS (TURKEY)

Dozens of Afghan women, men and children gathered in front of the UNHCR office in Ankara city the capital of Turkey to protest against the performance of UNHCR in considering their cases. Protesters claim UNHCR in Turkey is not reviewing their cases on time, which cause them wait for longer than expected.



The demonstrations have entered in 11th day and protesters are staying there day and night, on rood side till their voice is heard.



Asylum seekers have set up a protest camp in the Ankara city, demanding to meet UNHCR officials to review their cases which are already rejected by UNHCR.



according to some afghan protesters, Turkish and UNHCR officials had told them that if they’re not happy they can just go back to where they came from, but often that is just not possible.



The protesters’ spokesman Dr.Abdul Hamid said: “We want to show the government that it would not be easy for us to go back to Afghanistan. They are scared of returning there.”

TRIAL OF MUSLIM GANG THAT WANTED TO AVENGE FRIEND'S DEATH AND SET WRONG HOUSE ON FIRE KILLING MOTHER AND THREE OF HER CHILDREN OPENS IN UK

An innocent family died when their home was set on fire in a bungled revenge attack that targeted the wrong address, a court heard.



Shehnila Taufiq, 47, her daughter, Zainab, 19, and sons Bilal, 17, and Jamil, 15, perished after a ‘ferocious’ blaze engulfed their Leicester home in the early hours of the morning, a jury was told.



Mrs Taufiq’s husband, consultant neurosurgeon Dr Muhammed Taufiq Sattar, survived because he was working in Dublin at the time of the tragedy.

Seven men and a youth are accused of deliberately starting the inferno in Spinney Hills, Leicester. They all deny four counts of murder.



Nottingham Crown Court was told the intended target of the arson attack was teenager Abdul Hakim, whose mother lived just two doors away from the Taufiq family.



Seven hours earlier Hakim, 19, had been involved in a confrontation with football coach Antoin Akpom, a friend and associate of the accused, in which Mr Akpom was stabbed to death. The incident took place in Sussex Street, Leicester, less than a mile from the scene of the fire.

Richard Latham QC, prosecuting, said the eight defendants struck at the mid-terraced home where Mrs Taufiq and her children were sleeping, believing it was linked to Hakim, who was known by his nickname of ‘AP’.



But Mr Latham added: 'They simply got the wrong house. A tragedy.'



The court heard one senior fire officer described the resulting blaze, which was started by petrol being poured through the letterbox then set alight, as the ‘worst he had ever attended’.

A senior teacher at the centre of an alleged plot by religious hard-liners to seize control of governing bodies has admitted that there was a campaign to install Muslims in leading roles at schools in Birmingham.



Nearly 20 schools in the city are currently being investigated over claims that male and female pupils were segregated, sex education banned and extremist clerics praised in assemblies.



But one of the teachers said last night that the controversial move - dubbed the Trojan Horse - was aimed at raising attainment levels of Muslim pupils after years of underachievement.



Speaking anonymously to Channel 4 News, the teacher admitted there was a campaign to assert more Muslim influence in schools, describing it as “a very positive thing”.



He said: “This is about the proportion of representation and leadership on boards of schools that serve predominantly Muslim children.



“These teachers and leaders have a deeper understanding of the view of the population in these schools.



“I think the needs of Muslim children have been neglected for many, many years.



“There even school in areas with high Muslim population that do not serve halal meat, for example.

Hudud laws on rape are unfair and heap a heavy burden of proof on victims, according to Wanita Gerakan chief Datuk Tan Lian Hoe.



Should the Islamist party PAS implement hudud in Kelantan, women and children are in danger of becoming easy targets for rape by Muslim men, the Gerik MP claimed.



“I don’t think hudud law is very fair, that is why I said that on Facebook. When a rape is taking place, who would call someone to witness it” she told The Malay Mail Online.



Tan’s rant started on her Facebook page in response to other posts.



“Andy wait until one fine day their daughters or grand-daughters being raped by a muslim man. Then they will cry!!!!!” Tan posted in reply to a post by Facebook user Andychew Andypfilcol.



It would be difficult to charge rape offenders under hudud laws as four witnesses would be required to prove to the Syariah Court that the crime had taken place, she added.



PAS announced plans this month to introduce two private members’ bills in Parliament to remove safeguards in the constitution that bar it from enforcing Hudud laws.



In Islamic jurisprudence, “hudud” covers crimes such as theft, robbery, adultery and illicit sex. Punishments for the crimes are severe, including amputation, flogging and death by stoning.

National Mosque imam Tan Sri Syaikh Ismail Muhammad has pleaded to the United States (US) President Barack Obama to end oppression against Muslims worldwide.



He took the opportunity to express his wishes to Obama while taking the US President on a 25-minute guided tour of the mosque and the Heroes' Mausoleum, at Jalan Perdana this morning.



In response Obama said "pray for me," Ismail told reporters after Obama's visit to the Malaysian iconic monuments here today.



"Obama also said that every day when he wakes up he always does his best to put an end to oppression and conflicts affecting communities," he said.



Ismail, 70, also expressed his excitement on the historic meeting with Obama, which was his second meeting with a sitting US President.



His first meeting was with President Lyndon B.Johnson's in 1966, about 48 years ago when he was 22 years old and a tahfiz student (studying the Quran).



" I never expect I would meet another US President in my lifetime, after almost 50 years," he added. Ismail was also impressed with Obama's ability to understand the Malay language, in which he sometimes communicated with the US President.



Despite Obama's limited vocabulary, the US President frequently replied with "Insya Allah" (God willing) and "terima kasih" (thank you), he said.



"It was nice of him, although he could not speak much of the Malay language but understood what I had said to him," smiled Ismail.
