"THIS WAS ABUSE OF A YOUNG VULNERABLE GIRL IN THE MOST HORRIFIC WAY" FOUR MUSLIMS FOUND GUILTY OF SEXUALLY ABUSING 14 YEAR GIRL FOR EIGHT MONTHS (UK)

FOUR men from south Buckinghamshire have been found guilty of sexually abusing a vulnerable schoolgirl over an eight month period.



Nazakat Mahmood, Ghulfaraz Nawaz, Haroon Rauf and Omar Sharif were convicted of committing a string of sexual offences against the girl between December 2011 and July 2012.



She was just 14 years old at the time of the abuse.



Mahmood, Nawaz and Rauf forced the girl, who was often plied with alcohol, to perform sex acts on them and pressured her into having full sex on several occasions in the Chesham area, Reading Crown Court heard.



After the trio were arrested, Sharif blackmailed her into having sex with him - including in her pyjamas in a graveyard in the middle of the night, jurors were told.



Prosecutors said all of the men had denied having any sexual activity with the girl or inciting it, and they believed she was at least 17 years old.



Yet jurors were told all of the men, then aged in their 20s, had known how young their victim really was.



On Tuesday, jurors returned guilty verdicts on 20 counts against the four men to bring an end to the three week trial.



Investigating officer Det Con Natalie Golding said: "This was abuse of a young vulnerable girl in the most horrific way.



"All four men used this girl and then, when she had the courage to come to police, they denied the offences and continued to deny them.



"I want to thank the victim here for her bravery in coming forward and helping us to put these men behind bars.



"Hopefully this will go some way to showing other victims of sexual offences that we will listen to you and we will take you seriously."



All four men have been remanded in custody ahead of sentencing on May 16.

Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Abu Azmi has once again attracted controversy for saying that Muslims who speak against his party should have their DNA tested.



Addressing a rally in Sant Kabir Nagar District of Uttar Pradesh on April 30, Azmi had said that Muslims who do not vote for his party are not “true Muslims”.



Senior journalist and former politician Shahid Siddiqui condemned Azmi’s controversial remark.



“The way he is bringing Islam and Muslims in the mid of elections, it shows that Abu Azmi does not know anything about Islam or science, as you can find out that Azmi is Indian or not through DNA but you cannot find out that he is a Muslim or not,” Siddiqui said.



Azmi said on Wednesday that a Muslim cannot be a true person and lauded the efforts of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.



“A Muslim speaking against Samajwadi Party should have his DNA tested to see whether he is a true person or not, whether he is from RSS (Hindu radical outfit Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). DNA test should be done and I want to say that he cannot be a true Muslim,” Azmi said.

The Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations asked Sen. Jim Inhofe to clarify comments he made Wednesday on the floor of the U.S. Senate.
Near the end of a speech about the 225th anniversary of George Washington's first inaugural address, Inhofe said many Oklahomans believe the Obama administration promotes Islam while suppressing Judeo-Christian values.

In a letter to Inhofe, CAIR-OK Executive Director Adam Soltani writes that the senator's remarks "seem to indicate that you believe Islam does not support Judeo-Christian values. We are seeking clarification of your remarks and their implications for American Muslims, particularly the growing Oklahoma Muslim population.



"Islam is a part of the rich Abrahamic tradition and does not in any way suppress Judeo-Christian values in our country. Furthermore, we do not believe your views represent the views of most Oklahomans."

AFTER PASSING THROUGH MANY SAFE COUNTRIES MUSLIM OPPORTUNISTS FROM SYRIA ARRIVE IN FRANCE TO SQUAT INSIDE PARK IN PARIS

Around 150 Syria refugees are living a desperate existence in a small park to the north of Paris. NGOs and France's Green party are urging authorities to do more to help the families while they wait for their asylum requests to be processed.



They ended up there penniless after wandering from country to country for months.



Yahya, Aziz and 150 other Syrians swapped the brutality and death of a war zone for hand-to-mouth survival in a small park in a working-class suburb of Paris, squeezed in behind a hotel just a few metres away from a busy ring road.



Some come from Homs, others from Aleppo or the Syrian port city of Latakia, leaving behind the violence of a three-year conflict that has now claimed more than 150,000 lives and forced around half the population to flee their homes.



"We stay here all day. At night, some manage to get hotel rooms paid for, others sleep in cars or at the mosque," says Yahya, a former dental technician from the central city of Homs who speaks French fluently, pointing to refugees lying down on mattresses in the park in Saint-Ouen.



The 44-year-old, who refuses to give his surname, "abandoned everything" along with his wife and children after Syria erupted into violence in 2011, leaving behind a pretty villa and relinquishing any hope of returning.



Lebanon, Algeria, Egypt, back to Algeria, Morocco, Spain and finally France: "We knocked on every door," he says, grey hair cut short, black jumper worn out.



It's a similar story for Aziz, 54, who left Syria at the end of 2012 with his six children and wife.



The family criss-crossed Europe before ending up in the park, which has become his "headquarters."

"I also lived in Homs, in the Baba Amr neighbourhood (a rebel area besieged by the army). Everything has been destroyed there," Aziz says.



During their first few weeks in France, the family slept in a hotel. But for several days now, they have been camping out in a car.

Dutch police are investigating a Muslim rapper who used hateful language against gays and Jews in one of his songs.


The rapper Ismo, whose real name is Ismael Houllich, included the text in his first single. The official video clip for the song titled “Eenmans” (or “One Man’s”) shows Ismo singing: “I hate those fucking Jews more than the Nazis,” “don’t shake hands with faggots” and “don’t believe in anything but the Koran.”


The clip, which was filmed in the southern border city of Breda, had received 125,000 viewers on YouTube before a 19-year-old gay resident of the city, Lars Hobma, filed a complaint with police against Ismo for alleged incitement to hatred, the news site of the Algemeen Dagblad daily reported Friday.


Hobma has received death threats on Facebook after filing the complaint, the daily reported.


In an interview for Omroep Brabant, a regional radio station, Ismo denied Hobma’s allegations.


“They are trying to twist my words against me,” he said. “I don’t hate all Jews. I hate only Zionist Jews that made Palestine smaller than my neighborhood.”


He added: “It all depends on how you interpret the song. By ‘faggots’ I didn’t mean homosexuals and by ‘Jews’ I didn’t mean all Jews. My fans realize that.”

Over the past year, this relatively obscure governorate in Upper Egypt, with a population of a little more than four million, has produced some of the country's most disturbing headlines. Burned churches, mass death sentences, a looted museum—these have all been prominent Minya stories since June 30, 2013, when protests were held across Egypt, eventually resulting in the army forcibly removing president Mohammed Morsi from office. In Minya, the worst incidents happened in August, when local mobs attacked government buildings, Coptic Christian churches, and a museum, killing dozens, including a number of police officers. The mobs were responding to events in Cairo, where security forces had violently dispersed two sit-ins held in support of Morsi, who had been a longtime leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.



Not long after that initial decision, I happened to be researching archaeology in the region, so I scheduled a meeting with the highest-ranking local official, Governor Salah Zeyada. I was surprised to hear whom the governor blamed for Minya's problems: Barack Obama and the United States of America.



"They broke into six police stations in Minya and stole all the weapons," the governor said, describing the events of last August. "They burned 14 churches completely. And they burned four prosecution offices and courts, and they attacked the Mallawi Museum and stole all the antiquities. This was an American plot to turn Egypt into a new Syria, or a new Libya, or a new Iraq. This is the democratic America?"



Through my translator, I asked the governor to clarify who was responsible for the burned churches.



"It was Obama," he said. "And all of the American politicians who have divided all of the world. They are the only people who supported the Muslim Brotherhood, because they knew that the Muslim Brotherhood would destroy all of Egypt."

"WE ARE BEING VICTIMIZED" MUSLIMS PROTEST POLICE MOSQUE RAID (CZECH REPUBLIC)

With prayer mats spread on the ground behind the Ministry of the Interior, hundreds of kneeling Muslims gathered today to protest last Friday’s police mosque raid.



About 300 men and several dozen women prayed, listened to speeches and made religious chants in a show of defiance against what a community leader described as an “entirely inappropriate” raid by officials.

There was a small anti-Muslim counter-protest in the area behind the Prague 7 ministry where the prayer gathering - Friday is the most important day of worship for Muslims - was held.



The action by the Czech Republic’s Muslim community comes after a raid by police on Friday last week of a mosque and of the headquarters of the Islamic Foundation.



Officers detained a 55-year-old Czech citizen accused of organizing the translation of a book that, according to police, spreads racism, anti-Semitism and xenophobia. Dozens of people were held at the mosque when the raid took place during Friday prayers.



Muneeb Al Rawi, chairman of the Union of Muslim Communities in the Czech Republic (ÚMO), today told The Prague Post the action by the police's Unit for Combating Organized Crime (ÚOOZ) was inappropriate.



“We would like to express our indignation with the way the intervention [was carried out], for the time, the place,” he said.



He described the way the raid was carried out as “entirely inappropriate” and “utterly uneducated.”



“I would say we’re being victimized because it wasn’t necessary, because always we’re not preventing … authorities in carrying out their acts and duties,” he said.
