Anbar governor Ahmed al-Thiyabi recently accused ISIL of booby-trapping homes and livestock in and around Ramadi.



"Terrorist elements from ISIL have opened a new terrorist page to exact revenge on citizens, who reject them and support the security forces, by booby-trapping their homes and livestock and blowing them up by remote control," he told Mawtani.



"The Iraqi forces managed in the last two weeks to protect about 78 homes, booby-trapped by al-Qaeda using improvised explosive devices (IEDs), oxygen and cooking gas bottles they blow up at night as the citizens sleep," he said.



"ISIL has resorted to this method to exact revenge on these families, in acts that killed or wounded more than 10 people in Ramadi and its suburbs," he added.



"ISIL now resorts to booby-trapping animals such as sheep, cows and stray dogs, by strapping explosives to them and letting them roam for distances until they reach a suitable place, then detonating them by remote control," said Anbar emergency forces commander Brig. Gen. Mohammed Rasheed al-Aliyawi.



"This vicious tactic was repeated at least 10 times in the last two weeks, because of their inability to recruit more suicide bombers," he told Mawtani. "They steal such animals, which are a key source of daily income, from citizens in villages and rural areas."



In Albu Thiyab, ISIL elements strapped around eight kilogrammes of TNT to a dog, then tied it to the outer wall of a vacant house, al-Aliyawi said. When the security forces passed by, they blew up the dog using a remote control device, causing a number of deaths and injuries.



"We have drawn up a plan to avoid such methods and have alerted the security forces to avoid animals and barns and to exercise caution when entering them," he said.

Georgia Muslimah Lisa Valentine, who also goes by her Islamic name, Miedah, caused quite a stir at a courthouse. She appeared in front of a judge for a traffic citation wearing a headbag (hijab.) When a bailiff asked to have the garment checked as she entered the courtroom to ensure there was nothing dangerous inside it, Valentine erupted into a flurry of expletives and wild accusations.

Instead of complying with the demand, which seems reasonable considering the need for security measures at courthouses, Valentine started shrieking about “discrimination,” and repeatedly called the demand “bullshit.” The female bailiff blocked Valentine’s entry into the courthouse before summoning a male police officer. He grabbed the resistant Valentine by the arm, who pulled away. Valentine also screamed at the bailiff, accusing the judge of being racist. “So he’s like grabbing me and bending my arm, like you see people who are resisting arrest, and trying to get really physical with me,” Valentine recounted. “Then I said, ‘OK, OK,’ and I let them put the handcuffs on me.”

Valentine then told courtroom personnel she would be willing to have a female officer check under hear hijab to ensure there was nothing inside it. This seems odd, considering she refused to remove it for the female bailiff shortly before. When the judge heard what had happened just outside the courtroom, he sentenced Valentine to ten days behind bars for contempt of court. Her mugshot was taken without her hijab.

Cue the ACLU, CAIR, the ADL, and the NAACP. They took up Valentine’s case, which resulted in “sensitivity training” for Georgia police. Yet again we see more political correctness being shoved down our throats at the likely expense of reasonable safety protocol. If I ever go to court, I’ll wear a ski mask and insist it’s my religious head covering that courtroom staff can’t look under for fear of my modesty being violated.

Conservatives calling for stricter enforcement of Islamic dress codes for women staged a public protest Wednesday in Tehran, the latest hard-line assault on the government of President Hassan Rouhani.



About 500 demonstrators attended the boisterous rally, among them some women wearing head-to-toe black cloaks known as chadors. Many protesters carried placards bearing slogans such as “Obey Allah and his messenger.”



Traffic in the capital was tied up for two hours, drawing the ire of motorists.



“Immorality is so widespread in society, we have to do something before it is too late,” said one participant, Fatemeh, 23, who wore a chador and asked that her last name not be used for privacy reasons. “We Muslim women do not feel safe in the public sphere.”



The demonstration, near the Interior Ministry, included many seminary students, clerics and pro-government Basiji militiamen. The marchers said they did not have a permit, typically required by the government. But the demonstrators insisted they did not need one. Police did not appear to bother the marchers.



“We are peaceful demonstrators,” said Ali Fafaei, a broad-shouldered seminarian who was using his mobile device to exchange text messages with colleagues from the nearby Iravani religious school.

"I SHOULD GET JUSTICE ON THIS" MUSLIM LIMO DRIVER CLAIMS CUSTOMER ASSAULTED,CALLED A TERRORIST AND HE IS SCARED TO WORK AGAIN (OKLAHOMA)

A metro limo driver says he was physically assaulted and called a terrorist after a customer asked if he was Muslim.

The man says he was physically attacked in front of the Colcord Hotel as he went to pick up his customers after a Thunder game. Badar Aslam, 58, a limo driver for Kings Limo, says it happened just after he picked up a customer from a Norman hotel.



"He says ‘Oh where you are?' I said I'm from Pakistan. ‘Oh you a Muslim then' I said ‘Yes sir' he was ‘You are a terrorist you know,'" explained Aslam.



Aslam says the man continued to cuss at him before he was dropped off for the game. After the game was over Aslam says the man was upset that he couldn't pick them up closer to the arena and that's when he assaulted him.



"He got me from here and start punching me on here on this place and here and see my glasses here they've been broken," explained Aslam.



A witness stepped in to help and the suspect took off before police arrived. But the suspect then called the limo company.



"That Pakistani that picked me up, we didn't see eye to eye," he said on a recorded message.



Aslam was injured in his chest and shoulder and says he's scared to work again.



"In the country like the United States how can you hit anybody with all force and see the age, I'm a heart patient I could have died there you know."



The Council on American-Islamic Relations has now stepped in asking for police to take this case seriously.



"He feels really that the safety and security that he once enjoyed here in Oklahoma has been stripped from him," said Adam Soltani with CAIR-OK.



"I should get justice on this one," said Aslam.



A spokesperson with OKC police says they do not believe this is a hate crime, instead the suspect was drunk and upset about where he was being picked up and that was the driving force behind the assault .

A controlling man who strangled his pregnant wife, leaving her three children without a mother, has pleaded guilty to her murder at the Old Bailey today.



Mohammed Badiuzzaman, 35, a security guard of no fixed abode, murdered Sabeen Thandi in a fit of rage on July 7 last year after discovering that she had begun a relationship with someone else.



Mohammed Badiuzzaman began a relationship with Sabeen Thandi, 37, in November 2012 and moved into her property in January 2013.



He became controlling and forced her to wear a hijab. In April 2013 he pressured her into an Islamic marriage.



He even tried to sell her home by pretending he was the owner to estate agents.



He refused to let her go out on her own and would not let her travel to and from work as a doctors receptionist.



By June 14 2013 she had had enough of Mohammed and visited a solicitors in Watford.



Three days later, Watford County Court put in place a non-molestation order against Mohammed preventing him from entering the her home in Disraeli Road, Forest Gate.



She feared for her safety and the safety of her three children.



Two days later Mohammed forced her to revoke the order, telling her she would never see her son again if she did not.



When it became clear that Sabeen Thandi had been forced to attend the solicitors office they called police.



Mohammed Badiuzzaman was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and unlawful imprisonment. He was later released.



In the early hours of July 7 last year officers were called to Disraeli Road after an abandoned call was made from the address.



Mohammed Badiuzzaman answered the door and told officers there was only himself and his daughter in the address.



When officers entered the property and asked Mohammed where the children’s mother was, he said she had not returned from work.



Officers found her lifeless body in a bedroom. She had been strangled.



Mohammed was arrested for her murder.

GANG RAPE VICTIM ATTEMPTS SUICIDE FOR THE SECOND TIME BY TRYING TO BURN HERSELF AND HER THREE CHILDREN AFTER POLICE TAKE BRIBE AND DROP CASE AGAINST HER RAPISTS(PAKISTAN)

A gang-rape victim with her three kids attempted suicide again at the DPO office here on Tuesday.



Nusrat, a resident of 51/2L village, with her children Abdullah, 4, Munaza Fatima, 3, and 11-month-old Asadullah, entered the DPO’s office and raised hue and cry with complaints against the police. Later, she brought out a bottle of kerosene oil, sprinkled it on herself and her three children and tried to strike a match. However, the policemen and people overpowered her. On the order of DPO Babar Bakht Qureshi, she was taken to the Sadr police station.



She told journalists that she was gang-raped by Sardar, Riasat, Allah Ditta and Abid and the case (1106/13) was registered. She alleged that Investigation Officer SI Muhammad Aslam had discharged the case after receiving bribe from the accused. “Soon after the discharge of the case, the accused attacked my home and took away my household goods. I tried to get the case registered, but no one listened to me,” she said.



Earlier, she had tried to set herself and IO SI Muhammad Aslam ablaze at the Sadr police station after the case was discharged. Both were saved by policemen. SI Aslam said that Ali Akbar, the husband of Nusrat Parveen, was booked in a dacoity case and he was still at large. He said that she had registered the rape case to pressurise the accused who were acquitted of the charge on a negative DNA report.
