Dogs are viewed as nejis (ritually unclean) in Islam. When two dogs, one of which was a service animal, vociferously greeted Idaho Muslim police officer Tarek Hassani when he was responding to a call, the result was deadly.

The dogs did not seem to be attacking Hassani; rather, they just jumped around him like excited pets. They barked, but weren’t particularly imposing. Hassani kicked one (he will need to perform ritual ablutions to cleanse himself after having touched the animal), then pulled out his gun and shot the service dog, a yellow lab named Hooch. Hooch immediately went from barking to a deathly whimper, and crawled several feet to his death. The dogs’ owner came out upon hearing the commotion, and Hassani responded: “I am sorry I shot your dog. I love dogs, but I am not going to be bit again. Like I said, sir, last time I ended up in the E.R.” I highly doubt a trained service animal would ever send someone to the E.R.; service animals are trained not to be aggressive before being given to their new owners.

Hassani’s conduct is under review. The video of the shooting, seen below, has gone viral. Local residents demanded Hassani be fired for his actions.

Muslims in the Czech Republic are trying to have the book Islam and Islamism by Lukáš Lhoťan, a former Muslim, now an apostate from Islam, banned, weekly Týden writes today.

Islam and Islamism, released in 2011, describes Czech Muslims' extremism, but representatives of the mosques in Prague and Brno say the book promotes hatred, Týden writes.

The book says Muslims abuse the ideology of multiculturalism to infiltrate Czech schools, and they do not only deliver innocent lectures there but recruit converts and perhaps new jihad fighters.

After spending 12 years among Muslims in Brno, Lhoťan abandoned Islam, Týden writes. Now he has published the documents from the Brno mosque both in his book and on his webpage, it adds.

This is not quite legal, as he had stolen some of the documents, Týden writes.

Vladimír Sáňka, director of the Prague-based Islamic Centre, has filed a criminal complaint against Lhoťan over his promotion of hatred.

"He is a hyperactive idiot, but also an unhappy man. He makes his living from doing harm," Muneeb Hassan Alrawi, head of the Muslim community in Brno, is quoted as saying. Alrawi knows Lhoťan personally, Týden writes.

"The police investigation will only provide publicity to him. He desires nothing but this," Alrawi added.

POLICE FREE 3 FEMALE STUDENTS FROM ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY,LOCKED UP BY ADMINISTRATION FOR 18 HOURS WITH NO FOOD AND WATER AS A PUNISHMENT FOR RAISING CONCERNS OVER CORRUPTION AND LACK OF FACILITIES(PAKISTAN)

Three female students of International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) made it to the television headlines on Saturday as a court bailiff recovered them from the university hostel where they were allegedly confined by the administration.

The university administration however denied the charges strongly, arguing the students were expelled from hostel through disciplinary action, but they opted to lock themselves up in hostel rooms and create the mess through electronic media coverage.

Neelum Jehan, Romana and Hiba were allegedly confined by the hostel administration Friday evening with no food and water, and the bailiff recovered them after more than 18 hours of confinement.

Taking notice of the media reports, district and sessions judge Raja Jawad Abbas appointed a court official as bailiff to recover the girls. The bailiff recovered them and produced the girls and a hostel warden before the judge. Later, the judge directed release of hostel warden Shaista, and announced that the girls have the right to take legal action against the administration.

Talking to The Nation, Sher Afzal, counsel for the girls, informed that three girls, including PhD student Neelam Jahan, were locked up in the hostel room as punishment for raising their voice against alleged corruption in hostel mess, lack of facilities and other additional charges by the university administration.

Sher Afzal said these students had been studying in the University since 2007 and there was no complain against them. “Now the administration has just victimised them for raising their voice against the alleged corruption of the administration in hostel mess.” The counsel said that decision of university administration to expel these students was against the principles of justice.

Later in the evening, one of the girls, Neelum Jehan, submitted an application with Sabzi Mandi Police Station against the university officials, including Director General (DG) Gulzar Khawaja, Security Incharge Colonel (r) Amjad Zaman, hostel warden and a security guard. She alleged in her application that university administration tried to kidnap her and detained her in a room for more than 18 hours.

Abdeslam Laarusi, a Moroccan-born imam at the Badr Masjid in Terrassa, Spain, does not belong in the 21st century. The primitive fails to comprehend the concept of women’s rights – he thinks that, because a 7th-century book of child porn advocates wife-beating, that it’s OK. Laarusi was so steadfast in his belief that he told his congregation all about it – then he instructed them how to do the same.

Laarusi told his followers to use “fists and sticks on various parts of the body to avoid breaking bones or drawing blood.” Normally, evidence of abuse against Muslimahs is concealed underneath the traditional Islamic ninja costume they wear. However, sometimes the abuse comes to light when they visit the doctor, so Laarusi wanted to ensure none of his followers got in trouble with the law for behaving like the seventh-century savages they are. Police who investigated Laarusi’s mosque also discovered he had told his congregation how to isolate and shame their wives in their own homes, and when to avoid having sex with them. Despite all the evidence against the lie that Islam respects women, leftists and Muslims still claim that us counterjihadists are wrong. Look at Laarusi’s statement, then tell me that he, an educated scholar and cleric of Islam, respects women.

Laarusi is married with five children. His wife did not discuss with police the extent to which she had been abused.

Former inspector-general of police, Tun Haniff Omar today expressed fear that the action of non-Muslims questioning the decisions of the National Fatwa Council could cause disunity among the country's multireligious society.

He said this (non-Muslims questioning the edicts made for Muslims) had never happened before, and warned that if this continued, it could hamper the effort of making Malaysia a developed country (by 2020).

"If they (non-Muslims) are not knowledgeable about Islam, then why make comments about Islam? Before, if the ulama (religious scholars) issued a fatwa (edict), the non-Muslims would not comment as the edict was for Muslims."
