MUSLIM WOMAN ARRESTED WITH HER 3 CHILDREN AT SYDNEY AIRPORT ON HER WAY TO JOIN JIHADI HUSBAND IN SYRIA CHARGED WITH SUPPORTING TERRORISM APPEARS IN COURT CLAIMING SHE IS RECEIVING DEATH THREATS FROM "ANTI ISLAMIC" GROUPS

A mother accused of supporting overseas terrorism fears harassment from anti-Muslim groups, a court has heard.

Detectives from the NSW joint counter-terrorism team stopped Fatima Elomar at Sydney airport on May 3 as she tried to board an international flight with her children.

The woman appeared with three young children and a baby in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday to face a charge of supporting incursions into a foreign state with the intention of engaging in hostile activities.

Her lawyer Zali Burrows asked the court to ban any publication of Elomar's home address, saying the safety of the 29-year-old and her family was being threatened.

"The order is necessary to protect the safety of the applicant and her children," Ms Burrows said.

"Heralding the address of the applicant is basically an invitation for harassment ... the applicant has stated that she has received threats."

Ms Burrows said the "ADL (Australian Defence League) or anti-Islamic groups" could target her client if her address was published.

Magistrate Ellen Skinner will consider the application in a hearing on Tuesday afternoon, before the case returns to court in September.

WHENEVER MUSLIMS GET CAUGHT COMMITTING ACTS OF JIHAD THEY ALWAYS FIND WAYS TO INVOLVE "ISLAMOPHOBIA" AND "ISLAMOPHOBES" IN THEIR LEGAL WOES.
