IRAQI STUDENT ACCUSES TEACHER OF "RACIAL" PROFILING(NEVADA)

A father and son who wish their names to remain private, said they are shocked by what the boy's teacher said to him at Cimmaron-Memorial High School on Friday.

The father said, "His words to me, verbatim were, 'My teacher told me that this is America, and if you can't stand for the Pledge of Allegiance in my class, you can go back to Iraq.'"

The freshman was in a leg brace after a wrestling accident.

He said he was in too much pain to stand, and that his teacher knew he was injured. He said she singled him out, even though other students also stayed seated.

The father spoke with Cimmaron-Memorial's principal Tuesday morning. He said he was told the teacher would be disciplined, but the principal would not say how.
